[At 1617hrs, this post was deleted by Facebook without warning or explanation about an hour ago, and I have reposted in on my Facebook page - Sukant, Sons of Malcolm]
What's Corbyn playing at?
Nearly two thirds of Labour voters (62%) voted against Brexit (for remain), millions of young people who believe that immigrants and Black people are equal human beings with 'british [white] people' and have left/liberal politics, ie., THERE IS a mass social basis in and around the Labour Party as well as African, Asian & Black communities who feed into that. IF we had a Labour Party leader able to draw upon this grassroots, to inform, inspire and lead these grassroots, we would actually have a strategic push back against the Brexit far right. But Corbyn seems to be pushing in the exact opposite direction.
The *first* thing Corbyn said on the early morning of the Brexit victory was to 1, Capitulate at the feet of the #BrexitFascists by demanding we fast track exiting the EU by invoking article 50 (source)! The other thing he said is that immigration is a real issue that needs to be addressed. Since then he has been increasingly positioning himself as someone who is going to 'fight for plucky england/UK against the EU for brexit', this is positioning him increasingly directly with the UK nationalist right who are similarly invested in 'fighting the EU for the UK' which is neatly centred in the UK right and far right project. Corbyn is fast becoming right now (has already become?) the figure head that the Brexit/Lexit camp are attaching themselves to to develop this UK nationalist fight with the EU.
We have been here before, in a big way. The 'first world war' between the imperialists led to most european socialists siding with their own ruling classes against other european ruling classes which were fighting over greater domination of each others colonies. It was pretty much only James Connolly and Lenin that advocated NOT supporting 'one's own' imperialist govt against another but 'Connolly or quoting Lenin "the question history places before the proletariat is not to choose between war and peace, but between imperialist war and war against this war: civil war.", ie., Lenin and Connolly stated that the masses in europe should fight for a civil war against imperialist in favour of overthrowing imperialism and a socialist revolution.
More from Lenin on this: "Whoever justifies participation in the present war perpetuates imperialist oppression of nations. Whoever advocates taking advantage of the present embarrassments of the governments to fight for the socialist revolution champions the real freedom of really all nations, which is possible only under socialism" ... "Socialists must take advantage of the struggle between the robbers to overthrow them all. To be able to do this, the Socialists must tell the people the truth that this war is a war between slave owners to fortify slavery"
Although of course I am not advocating 'civil war', but the same POLITICAL strategy of refusing to support UK imperialism in a growing dispute with EU imperialism, but sure we can utilise all contradictions towards decolonial, anti-imperialist socialist project.
Corbyn and his team are choosing to ignore the two thirds of Labour voters who are hostile to Brexit, Corbyn is choosing to align himself with UK nationalist 'left' forces who are developing racism further by positioning a showdown with the EU in the context of growing racism and fascism. Part of this is Corbyn's total contradictory position on immigration, while he said a FANTASTIC thing on immigration in this interview by stating there must be no upper limit to it, he also stated that the central colonial feelings that inform racism by people is not racism.
Andrew Marr: But there are lots and lots and lots of people around this country who do feel that immigration is for them a problem, they see their communities changing very, very quickly and they feel their identity is challenged and they feel their kids are not getting school places and so forth. They are not racists. They’re not far right people. They’re just people really worried about immigration and they feel that people like you are not really listening to them.
Jeremy Corbyn: I’m not calling them racists. What I’m saying is it’s a failure of our government to properly fund local authorities. ... (source)
While we must ally with the Labour Party left in a united front against racism and fascism and in defence of immigrant and Black communities, people also should see how Corbyn is walking away from the mass base for a fight back and has since his acendence to the LP leadership has been incrementally going towards the right, not towards the left.
Therefore, this country is without a serious movement towards anti-racism and for a push back against this far right surge as people are still near wholly attached to Corbyn etc, but Corbyn is bleeding the potential for a peoples push back by thinking that the the more racist minority Labour voters are his core base to shape his politics to, rather than what his own followers desperately want: a real developing mass upsurge against the newly emboldened racists and fascists. Tragically, increasing confusion reigns, people will continue to support a useless social democracy until the noose is tightened fully around their/our own necks. We have NO clear organisations with clear politics in England to navigate this, all the while relatively clear leadership coming from SNP, Plaid and Sinn Fein with all their limitations are, as we been saying for decades, the leadership right now. Remember the SNP always warned that if Scots didnt vote for independence, that would lead to a rise of right / far right English triumphalism and a shot at total power through the EU referendum.
In summary, we need to totally reject getting involved in a growing right wing UK nationalist spat with the EU, people should consider putting pressure on the Corbyn camp to not enter into such a spat which they seem to be doing (source), and we need to plan and think about dipping into that mass base for counter #BrexitFascism push back which is African and Asian communities (who voted 72% and 68% against Brexit) and the Labour Party grassroots who voted two two thirds against Brexit, and also the Scots, Welsh, Irish and east european immigrants who are also the social base for a strategic push back of this growing madness.

What is classical/old fascism, and what is new fascism that we are seeing?
In a context of deepening and dramatically deepening crises of the capitalist-imperialist system old fascism, such Hiterlite Germany or Mussolini's Italy has these central characteristics:
1, Wars of colonial occupation (Germany with Italy's help colonised all of europe, and increased its global colonial project),
2, Scapegoating resistant and/or oppressed communities for the system's own crises (communists, Jews etc),
3, Genocidal supremacist colonial policies (concentration and extermination camps),
4, Curtailing of democratic rights in the face of a mass anti-fascist resistance.
How is the NEW fascism different?
In a context of deepening and dramatically deepening crises of the capitalist-imperialist system NEW fascism has these central characteristics:
1, Illegal wars of colonial occupation which we have been seeing with Iraq (1991), Serbia (1999), Afghanistan (2001), Iraq (2003), Libya (2011), Syria (2011), Yemen (2011),
2, Scapegoating resistant and/or oppressed communities for the system's own crises - no resistance really, but colonially racialised Muslims and immigrants and refugees are targeted,
3, Genocidal supremacist colonial policies - the deaths of tens of thousands of people in Mediterranean Sea is the modern day version of the gas chambers, as well as killing millions of people in colonial wars 'abroad' ,
4, Curtailing of democratic rights in the face of a mass anti-fascist resistance - there is no anti-fascist resistance, there HAS BEEN NO push back though electoral means, so no need to create a one party state and suspend elections, and also, the old fascist style is just that: old. The new is much more slick and sophisticated.
All that we are seeing now with #BrexitFascism is just a further intensity of the new fascism that we have been experiencing.
#BrexitFascism wins WHATEVER the outcome this thurs:
1. Brexit wins - we're fucked.
2. Brexit wins with anything over 38 or 40% - we're fucked, cos they will feel they are 'robbed', and I hate to say it, but i think we will then have more blood on the streets with an even more vengeful far right fascist upsurge, as well as a perpetual right wing tory allied to the far right political hegemony for the forseeable future, probably for the rest of our lives (I am 38 yrs old).
If Brexit gets less than 30%, we have a TINY bit of wriggle room.
3, Perhaps the worst case scenario for a even greater fascist upsurge: Brexit wins but Parliament rejects it.
We are going to be plunged into hell and back for the coming several decades, will any real strategic push back take place in these coming decades? I have no idea, but really no sign of it at all. We need a massive global anti-imperialist socialist upsurge to give inspiration, leadership and really jolt the balance of forces in the world for a real peoples Resistance to develop here.

Scottish, Irish and Welsh (leftist) Nationalists all oppose #BrexitFascism, see here this info map showing support for brexit - darker the shade means more support for brexit. What some of us have been saying for decades is coming true, rise of fascism on this island will see the Celtic peoples rejecting racism and fascism for the most (bar english settlers in Wales creating right wing trajectories there) and england it will be majority African and Asian areas that will Resist surrounded by a colonial fascist loyalist encirclement. - Sukant Chandan, Sons of Malcolm

The attack on our community at the Gay club in Orlando was an attack on all of us from the hands of the colonial supremacists and those that internalise that and conduct massacres. It doesn't matter what I or anyone else thinks of the people in the club and their lived culture, they were God's children whose life and limb should be protected.
We must resist the temptation to internalise a colonial hierarchy against them and state positively our solidarity with them, just as we do nearly everyday with the same victims of the same colonial/imperialist alliance with the same death squad forces in our Homelands from China to and nearly every Homeland in between and beyond Chad. Leave the divide and rule framework to our enemy and their minions, we have to have a Humanity that counters and defeats coloniality and white supremacist hierarchies.
I STAND PROUDLY with our victims in Orlando, who experienced for a few seconds what our peoples are going through for years, decades and generations. Victims of Orlanda and your loved ones and supporters, join hands with us against our common enemy against the imperialists and their dirty covert war of supremacist terrorism.

The Women's Liberation and Gay Liberation Movements
- Speech given by Huey Newton, founder of the Black Panthers,
August 15, 1970
Owen Jones got very upset the other night on sky news as those he was in conversation with refused to state in agreement with him that the Orlando massacre was an anti-Gay hate crime. It was an anti-Gay hate crime, but it was also something wider than that reflecting internalised colonial supremacism, and often direct collusion from usa and uk authorities in this supremacist terrorism. However, Jones has in the recent past been a cheerleader for exactly such supremacist forces.
Owen Jones supported hyper homophobic raping lynching mutilating supremacist death squads in Libya and Syria, so according to him they are heroes when they are massacring us but homophobic hate crime murderers when they killing westerners?!

"Adios, Assad (I hope)"
"this is a popular uprising, not arriving on the back of Western cruise missiles, tanks and bullets"
- On Syria, tweeted on 18 July 2012 after the nato backed death squads killed some Senior Syrian govt officials in a terrorist attack in Damascus on the same day.
'Stop the War Coalition' leaders Andrew Murray, Kate Hudson, Chris Nineham, John Rees and Lindsey German also supported the nato death squads in Libya and in Syria until circa early 2013.

“Some Questions on Maintaining and Developing Socialism with Chinese Characteristics.”
For our Party leading the people in building socialism, there are two historical periods: before “reform and opening” and after “reform and opening.” These are two interrelated periods that also have major differences, but the essence of both periods is that our Party was leading the people in the exploration and practice of building socialism. “Socialism with Chinese characteristics” was created in the new historical period of “reform and opening,” but it was created on the basis of New China having already established the basic socialist system and carried out more than twenty years of work. A correct understanding of this problem requires grasping three points.
First, if our Party had not taken the decision in 1978 to carry out “reform and opening,” and to unswervingly push forward “reform and opening,” socialist China would not be in the good situation it is today–it is even possible it could have faced a serious crisis like the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. At the same time, if in 1949 New China had not been established in a socialist revolution, and accumulated important ideas, materials and institutional conditions, gaining both positive and negative experiences, it would have been very difficult for reform and opening to proceed smoothly.
Second, although the ideological direction, policies and practice of building socialism in these two historical periods were very different, these two periods are not separate from each other, and are not at all fundamentally opposed. Our Party has in the process of building socialism proposed many correct positions, but at the time they were not properly implemented; they were only fully implemented only after “reform and opening,” and we will continue to adhere to them and develop them in the future. Marx said long ago: “Men make their own history, but they do not make it as they please; they do not make it under self-selected circumstances, but under circumstances existing already, given and transmitted from the past.”
Third, there must be a correct evaluation of the historical period before “reform and opening.” We cannot use the historical period after “reform and opening” to deny the historical period before “reform and opening,” nor can we use the historical period before “reform and opening” to deny the historical period after “reform and opening.” The practice and exploration of socialism before “reform and opening” built up the conditions for the practice and exploration of socialism after “reform and opening;” the practice and exploration of socialism after “reform and opening” is to maintain, reform and develop the previous period. …
The reason I emphasize this question is because this is a major political issue that, if not handled properly, will have serious political consequences. The ancients said: “To destroy the people of a country, first go at their history.” Hostile forces at home and abroad often write articles about the history of the Chinese revolution and the history of New China–they stop at nothing in attacking, vilifying and slandering, but their ultimate purpose is to confuse people and to incite the overthrow of the Chinese Communist Party and our country’s socialist system. Why did the Soviet Union disintegrate? Why the Soviet Communist Party fall from power? One important reason is that in the field of ideology the struggle was very intense–fully negating the history of the Soviet Union and the Communist Party, negating Lenin, negating Stalin, promoting historical nihilism and confused thinking. Party organizations at all levels hardly did anything, and the army was not under the leadership of the Party. In the end, the Soviet Communist Party, this great Party, was scattered, and the Soviet Union, this great socialist country, fell to pieces. This is a cautionary tale!
Comrade Deng Xiaoping pointed out: “On no account can we discard the banner of Mao Zedong Thought. To do so would, in fact, be to negate the glorious history of our Party. On the whole, the Party’s history is glorious. Our Party has also made big mistakes in the course of its history, including some in the three decades since the founding of New China, not least, so gross a mistake as the ‘Cultural Revolution’. But after all, we did triumph in the revolution. It is since the birth of the People’s Republic that China’s status in the world has been so greatly enhanced. It is since the founding of the People’s Republic that our great country, with nearly a quarter of the world’s population, has stood up — and stood firm — in the community of nations.” He also stressed: “The appraisal of Comrade Mao Zedong and the exposition of Mao Zedong Thought relate not only to Comrade Mao personally but also to the entire history of our Party and our country. We must keep this overall judgement in mind.”
This is the vision and thinking of a great Marxist statesman. Think for a moment: if at that time we had fully negated Comrade Mao Zedong, could our Party still stand firm? Could our country’s socialist system stand firm? If it does not stand firm, then the result is chaos. Therefore, correctly handling the relationship between socialism before and after “reform and opening” is not just a historical issue, in fact it is mainly a political issue. I suggest that everyone take out the “Resolution on Certain Questions in the History of Our Party Since the Founding of the People’s Republic of China” and read it again.

Which means the top leading posts of all trade unions in the 'U.K.' earn *more* than these President-comrades of ours. How about the leadership of the TUs lower their wages to the level of these Presidents? They dare not to as their whole outlook is the 'left' trade union posture of UK imperialism, as its UK's imperialist looting that funds their salaries and they know it very well hence will not do anything strategically to oppose imperialism and they are totally fearful of anti-imperialist struggle and Black and Asian people who are loyal to it.

Bolivia's Evo Morales makes the least of any head of state in the Americas, while Mexico's Enrique Peña Nieto makes the most.
Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa delivered his last State of the Nation message on Tuesday, drawing attention his government’s stance on politicians' salaries — and noting he's one of the lowest-paid heads of state in the Americas.
Correa began his presidency by lowering his monthly salary by more than 50 percent to US$4,000. He has since frozen the maximum salary for president, vice president and ministers to US$6,957 a month.
"I pay all my expenses and my family's with my salary," said Correa. "Once I became president I reduced it to USD$4,000, that is 25 minimum wages, when my predecessors earned USD$9,800, which is more than 61 minimum wages."
Correa isn't the only modestly paid politician in the region, however.
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro makes around USD$6,000, but Bolivia’s Evo Morales earns the least in Latin America by far, making USD$2,090 a month.
On Weds 25 May 2016 The Guardian newspaper ran a wildly racist front page story in scapegoating Nigerian, Indian, Chinese and Russian people for housing crisis in this country. The UK itself and the capitalist-imperialist system is responsible for the madness in housing and all the other injustices against people. This article serves to deflect from this and instead focus peoples hatred towards the very same countries that the UK has colonised and looted and is still seeking to contain and destroy through cover and overt war. - Sukant Chandan, Sons of Malcolm
